Elise is an award-winning teacher turned Certified Personal Trainer & Spinning® Instructor in NYC.
Elise started her official fitness career as the Personal Trainer and Studio Manager of a small boutique gym in downtown Boston. She has designed individualized fitness programs, cycling, and total-body strength-based circuit programming for hundreds of clients. She is certified through both the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and Madd Dog Athletics.
Prior to becoming a full-time personal trainer, Elise majored in dance and taught high school math for four years. Her background in fitness, education, dance, and curriculum development gives her a cutting edge as a personal trainer. She believes in unlocking people’s fitness potential with honest goal setting, designing programming around client’s strengths and limitations.
Elise graduated cum laude from Kenyon College with a B.A. in both Dance and Anthropology, and holds a Masters Degree in Education (M.Ed) from Boston University, with a focus on Teaching and Curriculum Development. In addition to taking on personal clients, she is also personal trainer at Columbia University.
